Node JS Developer

About the Role:

WebXpanse is looking for a passionate and skilled Node.js Developer to join our growing backend team. You will be responsible for developing scalable backend services, APIs, and server-side logic for dynamic web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and Express.js

• Design and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services

• Optimize applications for speed and scalability

• Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and other team members

• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code

• Participate in code reviews and team discussions

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and Node.js

• Experience with Express.js or similar frameworks

• Familiarity with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or other databases

• Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture

• Knowledge of version control tools (e.g., Git)

• Good problem-solving and communication skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience with NestJS (highly desirable)

• Experience with containerization (Docker)

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines

• Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, GCP, etc.)

• Exposure to microservices architecture
